Happy Birthday to Caden

He was born on March 30th at 12.00PM

What a wonderful thing... our son has been born and he is happy and healthy! You can see lots of pictures of that event and others here. Over time, the picture gallery will grow with lots of imagery of life events! So stay tuned to the Caden Toews' gallery!

Use the links on the left to explore the digital narrative of Caden's life. The menu is organised chronologically... starting in 2006, before he was born! The media you will find by following the links will be varied as it will be constantly evolving to suit the needs of the narrative.

Just as Caden's life will constantly change, so too will the story telling tools! Everything from photographic stills to slideshows and digital video will be in there from the beginning. Who knows what will be available in years to come... but I will be sure to try it out!

In the picture on the right you can see Caden at around 4 months old. You can make out his head, hand and torso in this scan!

The ultrasounds get harder for the layman to read the older the foetus becomes. That is because they are too big and only parts of him show up on the screen at any given time. That's why I like the image above. It shows all of Caden just as he is coming to life and at the stage of gestation where he is really starting to grow...

Here you can see the heartrate scan. When they play back the audio the heartbeat sounds very loud and fast.

It's very reassuring to hear the heartbeat early in the pregnancy.
