They live better than most people!

It's a dog's life REALLY applies to our dogs

We spoil our dogs, I'll admit it. They get fresh, homecooked meals every day. Sometimes they eat better than we do! I wish I was kidding! They make up for it though in cuteness. That's their job description! Over the years they have provided so much love and companionship we could never spoil them too much.

They sleep most of the time... that's why they call it a dog's life! Being long haired, they suffer in the heat here in the Middle East. That's why we cut their hair a few times a year.

Som

Som means orange in Thai. She has orangish fur... so that's what she was named. She is the smaller of our two dogs, but she's tough! Sophie constantly tries to bully her, but she stands up for herself. Som sleeps with her tongue sticking out. It's hilarious!

Sophie

The queen bee... or at least she thinks so. Sophie is the Alpha dog. She is strong, fast, and thinks a lot of herself. She is very protective of us however and is a very good alarm dog. She is fast enough to catch birds, something she has done a few times in our back yard!
