Where we come from

ELC International (Thailand) Co., Ltd. was formed as a franchise operation of one of the largest language schools of the U.S.A in 1984.  After 15 years of operation, in October 1999, ELC became an independent company in order to better respond to educational reforms and market conditions in the Kingdom of Thailand.  Since that time ELC International has grown into a significant player in the exciting field of ELT (English Language Training). 

From 1999 to 2001 we grew from 2 centers with 20 staff to 8 centers with 115 staff in 8 districts across the country.  Our success has been driven by innovation, teamwork and a dedication to quality.

ELC International has international affiliations and alliances across the globe. Our global partners include: ELS language centers in the USA, Canada, U.K. and Australia, St. Giles language school in the U.K., ELC language Center in New Zealand and AEC in Singapore.

ELC has been selected to develop the career development project for The Department of Skills Development of the Ministry of Labor and Welfare of Thailand. ELC has been appointed by the Department of curriculum & instruction of the Ministry of Education to create a corporate training program for the executive officers of the MOE. ELC is also accredited by the Ministry of Education of Thailand.
